Jude
Jude, the brother of James is the author of this short letter and he warns his readers against the dangers of false worship, and points to the faithlessness of the Israelites as a reminder of God’s judgment. Surrounded as his readers were by moral corruption and unrighteous influences, Jude urges them to "contend for the faith" (Jude 3), and in a closing exhortation he commends them to the One "who is able to keep you from falling" (Jude 24), a clear reference to the Lord Jesus Christ, the message being that He can be used as a source of help and guidance during times of difficulty and adversity.
