Psalms
The book of Psalms is a collection of 150 psalms and is a ‘book of praise’ as the Hebrew word for psalms means.
The writers of the psalms include David, Solomon, Moses and Asaph. The psalms provide a framework for living a practical life of dedication to God as almost every aspect of man’s relationship to God is depicted in these poems.
Topics such as prayer, trust, an awareness of sin and the conviction that God cares for his creation are covered and provide real comfort and guidance to the reader.
