Titus
This is a personal letter written by the Apostle Paul to Titus, a young minister whom he had left on Crete to assist with the establishment of the early church.
Like the letters to Timothy, this correspondence deals with a number of practical issues in terms of who is qualified to lead and guide the church, together with solutions in how to combat problems and issues that were beginning to develop amongst the believers. The guidance and advice that Paul gives always centres on a return to the basic teachings and doctrines that he himself gave, and to avoid the vain philosophy of man.
